Thanks! I have to say, this year’s trick or treating was a good affirmation of how nice of an area we moved to. Everyone was incredibly polite, all the kids had costumes on, all the kids had PARENTS with them, and no one was on their cell phones while they asked for candy.
several kids told us how nice our house was. how sweet...

First Day of Class Tomorrow!
The great part about a career in academia, is that you really do get the first day of school jitters every year :) This semester I’m lucky to be working with 3 assistants who all requested to work with me specifically which made me feel really good. I have some amazing projects planned, some great field trips, etc. I can’t wait to see how this year pans out.
Wish me luck tomorrow in...
